We are very pleased to announce that the Asia-Pacific Paleopathology Forum (APPPF) will be held in Kyoto from July 30 to August 1, 2022. The conference will be hosted at Doshisha University. The Asia-Pacific Paleopathology Forum (APPPF) is organized to promote academic exchanges among paleopathologists of the Asia Pacific region like PPA meetings in other continents. Organizing APPPF can thus be an intermediate step to our final goal: Asia-Pacific meetings of paleopathologists. It is our great honor to organize this meeting for the first time in Japan, and we are looking forward to greeting colleagues from around the globe working in the region. 公開シンポジウム「都市化と古病理学」Symposium

Due to the change in meeting format to online and the venue capacity issue gone, we are extending the registration deadline to July 23rd.

APPPF Kyoto is fast approaching. However, the relaxation of Japan's border measures associated with COVID-19 countermeasures is still unclear. The current strict regulations will impose a heavy burden on participants from overseas. In light of these circumstances, the APPPF Organizing Committee has made a tough decision to hold the event online. We deeply apologize to everyone who made various preparations for coming to Japan.
The details of the online method and new registration fees will be announced soon.

Due to the spread of the Omicron variant, we have decided to extend the pre-registration deadline to May 31, 2022.  We understand that it will be a difficult decision for you, whether to participate on-site or online. Therefore, we have also decided to postpone the payment deadline until the situation becomes clearer. However, we ask your kind cooperation to register early, as we need to fix the venue and  bugdets. No obligation will occur from your pre-registration, including cancel fees.

Registration fee has been changed to 4,000 JPY for all participants (including students) as the conference will be held completely online.
